Welcome! I’m Beth, a British freelance illustrator, mural artist, and graphic designer whose work inspires environmental conservation and positive change.
My passion lies in combining illustration with conservation, education, and beautiful cultures. This has led me on many exciting journeys, from tracking the African wild dog across Zululand, several years conservation charity work in Madagascar, to researching and restoring degraded coral reefs. I have designed and taught environmental education programmes in classrooms from remote Madagascar to the Cornish coastline, monitored Devon’s endangered wildflower meadows, achieved a first class degree in Environmental Science at Exeter University, and illustrated three Malagasy conservation story books somewhere along the way. I have worked as a marketing designer for a carbon-farming startup, and most recently have been living in Sri Lanka and India as a freelance illustrator and muralist, during which time I volunteered to empower local women through surfing.
I create community-outreach material for organisations engaged in environmental conservation, climate change issues, sustainable development, and human rights, as well as educational material for primary schools and branding material for organisations that strive for positive change. My background means I can understand your work or message to a high level, and hence visually communicate it in an effective, creative, and powerful manner, to deliver maximum impact.
Commissions are open and I’d love to work with you and inspire positive change in our world! Contact me directly via email at:
