Mural - Empowering Women through Surfing

Painting the world I wish to live in, where surfing can be used as a tool to empower women all over the world. Through improving confidence, finding peace, and developing collective power in the water, this is also taken back onto land, empowering women to follow their own journey’s, making choices that not only benefit them but most often also the environment too.

This mural was a joy to paint, inspired by a local surf break in India and all the incredible women I have met both there and whilst volunteering with Sea Sisters in Sri Lanka. My wish is that it starts important conversations around gender equality, access to and inclusion within surfing.
